Hello!

During my waiting time for the WODE (ordered in September received last week) I installed a Homebrew channel on my black Wii 4.1E and am able to play Wii-ISOs via USB-Hard Drive formatted in WBFS and CFG USB-Loader.

I would like to play Gamecube-ISOs also. Do I have to create a new partition with e.g. EASEUS in a particular format in order to play Gamecube games while keeping my Wii-ISOs in the WBFS-partition? Or do I have to make a totally new setup and when yes which???

There is always the golden rule to never change a running system... but the prospect of playing Gamecube games is way to tempting!!!

Anyone out there who could help? Anything is appreciated!

Greetings from Germany,
Toby.

It's all in the FAQ if you have a read. That's what they are there for ;)

I have all my GC and Wii games in the same iso folder with no problems at all - however my format is NTFS on the HDD. Not an expert on any other HDD file system so rather have a read in the FAQ. Link to the FAQ is in my sig and there is more information there.

GameCube games can not go on a WBFS partition. WBFS is the Wii Backup File System, not GameCube Backup File System. You'll need to create a new partition for your GC games, yes.

If you have space on your PC dump your WBFS games back to PC then format to FAT32 and transfer your games back with Wii backup Manager then you can just brows the drive and copy your GC iso's direct from windows.

Thankx for your replies! I still have some questions:

* If i wanna keep playing the Wii-ISOs via USB-Loader and just wanna play the Gamecube-ISOs via WODE, can I keep one partition in WBFS with my Wii-ISOs and make one in e.g. Fat32for the GC-ISOs???
* If I do so, would the WODE also regognize the Wii-ISOs???
* Or do I have to completely work with the WODE and abandon USB-Loader???

Toby.
