Right the wretched stealth mode. I always forget about that :).

I am having a strange problem. I am running a first generation Wii with HBC 1.08, wireless networking enabled, system 4.3u with IOS58 and the latest WODE firmware. I am able to run various homebrew apps such as the homebrew browser and I can load various games using the LCD interface however I am unable to get the WODEFLOW software to work. I can see it in the HBC channel and it appears to launch with the blue progress bar but the screen goes black and stays there. The only way out is to reset the Wii.

AutoCFG - yes
Patching - yes
Updates - no
Stealthmode - no

I am using the latest WODEflow-r12.dol renamed to boot.dol. The forums are a bit confusing with various links to other posts over and over and i did follow the guide in the sticky to get BootMii and HBC installed. I have tried a clean SD card, adding the carbonik theme, removing it etc. The screen just goes black and there does not seem to be a clear FAQ for various issues that seem commonplace in the forums. Any thoughts?

Are you using a meta.xml file that includes <no_ios_reload/> alongside wodeflow's boot.dol?

Also if you are, try deleting SD:/wodeflow and replace the r12 dol with r9. r12 is clearly marked experimental on code.google.com whereas r9 is marked stable.

Homebrew Forum->http://www.wodejukebox.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=1992 with a guide for 4.3 users right on top. I don't know what's confusing about this. Maybe disabling stealth mode should be added to both tutorials though.

Thanks a lot! Wodeflow r12 works great on HBC 1.08, Wii fw 4.3E, Wode fw 2.8A.
Wode settings:
- Auto Load CFG;
- Stealth Mode OFF.

But it works only with usb devices connected to the wode, not with sd or sdhc (an other sd have to be connected to the wii because it contains the wodeflow application).

Wodeflow r12 can detect also sd/sdhc!
It' sufficient go to Settings, page 7, and set Game Partition from sda1 to all.
Thanks a lot to d66 developer :P

Gr8 Install Guide!!!!

After initially doing my console over 12-18 months ago and being out of the loop so to speak for that time, I hop on these forums to refresh myself, find this thread and have just finished installing the WODE, the HBC and Wodeflow all in under an hour (with the kids in my ear too I might add)
Thanks OZ MODS and well done to all that help out on these forums as well, especially you Zephyr.................surely the WODE team have started paying royalties by now?.....

LoL... Royalties... Not sure WODE team know what that means

Several have helped out lots and it is good to see. I did rack off for a while due to a fallout... Rduke, Ted Taylor and several others continued to help out as always... Rduke does quite a bit iirc as well from what I read... I am never on that

By the way - yu can safely update to hbc 1.1.0 and have no issues like we did on 1.0.8 with no wifi.

I updated my wii that is not connected to wifi from 1.0.7 to 1.1.0 and had no issues now with wodeflow crashing like 1.0.8 caused witho wifi.

However, there is no real need to update to 1.1.0 if all is working with whatever version you installed :)

Just on that update Zephyr.............I'm on 1.0.8 with my setup with WiFi of course and I've just set up my brothers with 1.0.7 as he won't have WiFi. Are you saying I could update both systems to the 1.1.0 and have no issues with either? I would do this as I'm sure down the track when he will use WiFi when he purchases a computer.

Also one other thing. A few weeks after I first set my system up, I changed the Wodeflow theme to a Simpsons one where the donuts are in the background. Not a huge issue to me but I can't remember how I did it nor can I find any information about it. Any ideas in case I want to change it back or change to something else?

Yes updating to 1.1.0 should fix the "connectivity issues". Generally speaking 1.1.0 works fine for me.

Wodeflow themes go to SD:/wodeflow/themes - similar to wiiflow on which it is based on.

Sorry rduke..............I mean the screen after you enter the HBC. I somehow changed that screen(the one where you click on Wodeflow) to a Simpsons theme.
